KIMTEK FIRELITE® FDHP-300 series are high-pressure skid units made for fire departments looking for a unit that is built to last and is easy to use. All of the FDHP-300 series skid units are available in 125, 160, 200, and 300-gallon configurations. Will It Fit My Truck?
Our 300 series skid units are built to fit most compact 6.5 foot short bed pickup trucks, full size 8 foot pickups, and flat beds. Fire departments usually purchase or have single cab or the newer crew cab configurations.
You can take an existing department chief’s truck or utility truck and bring it to the status of being a full-fledged forestry brush truck.
Many different make and model full-size pickups and flatbeds can be used such as Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, Dodge, and Toyota. Our FIRELITE slip-on skid units have also been placed on surplus military trucks, Toro Workman Series HD vehicles, and utility body trucks.

All of our truck skid units are set up to be low profile and have a low center of gravity to fit nicely in the bed of your brush truck fire apparatus.
The FDHP-300 series Models 301, 302, and 303 also have a rescue area capable of carrying a patient for off-road rescue situations or can be outfitted with a wide range of popular hose and tool storage options available for an additional charge.
The FDHP-301, 302, and 303 deluxe model fire slip-on units come complete with an electric rewind Hannay 4000 series reel and Scotty Through the Pump class A foam system with 5-gallon foam cell!
The FIRELITE FDHP-304, 305, and 306 basic model skid units are for departments that want a basic, no-frills firefighting only skid unit with no storage and no patient transport.
These units are equipped with a manual Hannay 4000 Series reel, a 125, 160, 200, or 300-gallon water tank, and your choice of four pump options. As an option, you can upgrade to a Scotty Foam System and can add an electric rewind to the Hannay Reel.

Please note that all 300 series FIRELITE skid units are standard 48” wide and require a full-size pickup truck 6.5′ or 8′ cargo bed with at least 48” between the wheel wells.
