John Deere History
From the first steel plow created in 1837 to the numerous farming implements and construction vehicles built today, John Deere built a legacy that continues to stand the test of time. The company introduced a broad range of farming and harvesting equipment in 1912 and introduced its first combine in 1927.
The Gator itself was released back in 1992 as an evolution of the AMT 600 All Materials Transport. While the original Gator TH was designed mainly with residential yard work and turf maintenance in mind, other variants have proven versatile enough to tackle heavy-duty farm use and off-road use.

The John Deere Gator UTV comes in several variants, including a full-size crossover XUV with upwards of 2,000 pounds of towing capacity and an optional climate-controlled cab. The Gator also comes with a variety of gas, diesel, and electric options to suit any need. Other available features include an independent suspension, 4WD capability, and power steering.
