MEDLITE® Transport Cot Unit

The MEDLITE^® Transport (MTSTR-104) is designed to carry one patient on a full size standard ambulance stretcher and one EMS attendant. The stretcher rides inside the MEDLITE^® Transport and attaches in much the same way as the average stretcher is attached inside an ambulance.

With a customer supplied standard lock/release mechanism specific to the make and model stretcher being used (Stryker, FERNO Etc), the MEDLITE^® Transport Stretcher is built to be placed in most UTV chassis models.

The attendant’s seat with seat belt glides on wheels and is able to be locked in two different locations along the guide rails to meet any emergency situation. The unit also has a secondary locking/securing security strap near the headboard, and 10 Velcro D loop security straps are included as a 3rd means of redundant securing if needed in rough terrain.

This unit is also capable of carrying a long board or stokes basket if desired instead of a full cot-stretcher.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Customer shall supply and install the correct primary lock/release mechanism pertaining to the specific make and model stretcher to be utilized. Stretcher not included.
